Psalm 27 Poem by Frank McEleny

The Lord is my light and salvation
Of whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life
I stand because you are near

Set me high upon a Rock oh Lord
A place where you can hide me
In your pavillion and tabernacle I dwell
A place where I am truly free

Hear me oh Lord when I cry with my voice
For you are the Lord God Almighty
When I am abandoned and have lost all hope
I know that you will never forsake me
