Psalm 34 Poem by Parker Perrella

Psalm 34

Rating: 5.0

Taste and see that the Lord is good
His praises forever on your lips,
His grace sweeter than honey
His mercies so rich.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
His love that sparks us like an unforeseen kiss,
His patience never to expire
His strength so crisp.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
His body the bread,
His blood the wine,
O come, taste of His forgiveness.
Come, be clothed in His righteousness-
In love divine.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
See the crushed in Spirit
Hear their desperate cry,
Marvel at the Lord's nearness
As He breathes ashes to life.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
See the old man buried,
See the new man rise,
See the glory of God before your unveiled eyes.*
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
How happy is the man who takes refuge in Him!
