Pumpkin Festival Poem by Marilyn Lott

Pumpkin Festival

Rating: 5.0

It’s a wonderful pumpkin festival
Including a fun parade
There is everything you’ve wished for
With costumes both boughten and made

Scary skeletons slinking in corn stocks
Ugly witches are cackling everywhere
Fancy taters are at the stands to eat
Ugly faces will give you a scare

You’ll see great things that you can buy
Like birdhouses to keep critters warm
There is really a need for them now of course
And in the yard they also adorn

So come on down and join the fun
A day you will not forget
It’s a seasonal Pumpkin festival
It will be the best that we’ve seen yet!
