Pure Poem by Shauna Elizabeth Byrne

Pure

The Diamonds of the Sky,
Beautifully surrounding us, sometimes oblivious
But always there.
Watching us watching us in appreciation.
A love that needs no purpose, no intention,
I can never become restless in their presence.
Their silence insights the soul projecting their twinkling radiance into the eyes of the watcher.
I can never become restless in their presence.
The night sky undresses these stunning wonders, but
Knowing they'll always be there
brings a warm calm in
The storms of our vicissitudes.
