Quest

I am a sad boy
How has no toy
I want to live in joy
But she has left me

I am going to tell mommy
Cry by her knees
I love my mommy
But she has left me

I am sad
She was great
I wait for her
By the garden gate

I am sad
Sad little boy
With no toys
and now no joy

Poem of the Day

poet Edgar Allan Poe

Kind solace in a dying hour!
Such, father, is not (now) my theme-
I will not madly deem that power
Of Earth may shrive me of the sin
