Quid Pro Quo 101 Poem by Hebert Logerie

Quid Pro Quo 101

Rating: 5.0

Quid pro quo is a Latin phrase
Which is very popular these days
Many definitions of "quid pro quo" exist
According to several encyclopedias or dictionaries:
One thing in return for another
A favor for another
One transfer is contingent upon a reciprocal
An advantage granted for something very special
Something for something
A ring for a thing
It's a trade-off, an exchange
Get it or do it and keep the change
Scratch my back, I'll do yours better
One valuable for another valuable
One hand washes the other
Tit for tat
This for that
Give me this, I'll give you that
To maintain the status quo, the corruption
The nepotism, the fraud, the extortion
Quid pro quo is, of course, a term in Latin
Don't think like a cretin
I don't mean Hispanic or Spanish
Don't be cretinous, derpy or snobbish
Now you understand QPQ 101
Be smart, vote for common sense and reason.
