R.I.P. Poem by Adela Myers

R.I.P.

Heavy lids enclose hazel beauty
Sound of heavenly bliss
Helpful for a dreams duty
Suns rays I won't miss

Laying on a field of endless greens
A warm touch on my side
I see her yellow shirt and blue jeans
We laughed while breathe within died

I awake with a sense of sadness
I dreamt of my desires
There is nothing I couldn't love less
Than my grandma, Cindy Sue Myers
