Racer Life Poem by chester wellborn

Racer Life

Racer life,
Run Into the midnight show
Car go round and round
You're on my mind
Restless hearts
Sleep alone tonight
Sending all my love
Along the wire

They say that racing
Ain't no place to start a family
Right down the line
It's been you and me
And lovin' a Racing man.
Ain't always what it's supposed to be
Oh, girl, you stand by your racing man
I'm forever yours
Faithfully

Racing life
in the circle track life
We all need the wins
To make us smile
Through the night
Always another show
Wondering where I am
Lost without you

And being apart
Ain't easy on this love affair
Two strangers learn to fall in love again
I get the joy of rediscovering you
Oh, girl, you stand by your racing man.
I'm forever yours
Faithfully
