Radioactive (Parody) Poem by Jason Danner

Radioactive (Parody)

I'm breathing in, the chemicals
To rise above, my place on Earth
And if I fall, through this cloud,
My mind shall fly, my soul is found.
I'm Preparing for some dark days
Ooohh oohh (x2)
My dreams are shot, So I melt them down
In a spoon, My dreams are found.
And on the floor, I cry alone,
A victim to, myself, I know.
I wish to go, I wish to go
I'm Preparing for some dark days,
Oohh ohh,
I'm preparing for some dark days,
Oohh ohhh
My Mind is weak, My body's numb
My friends are gone, and so is Mom
And in the end, there's nothing left
The beach is gone, the wave's have crest
The forest burned, to ash and soot,
The rivers flow, cedes to Earth,
My Mouth is dry, my head is hurt
I shout not yet, but I must conform.
This is the end, This is the end,
I'm reading for some dark days, ohh ohh (x2)
