Radius Of The Sun Poem by Fallen Too Far

it sits looming
a giant fluorescent
canopy that can wither
or protect
harm or harmonize
create or destroy
lighten or blacken
it's arms reaching further than the human race
and it's eyes comsume all notice
of our habitat
this scum hole we chose
or maybe we didn't
this is where it releases
it's deadly smooth radius
of blue-black
and synchronizes the rythms of our beating cultures
a mass grave for all who wander by
it's desolate teeth
in awe it gapes
and then plunges the human race
into bitter darkness for seconds unfathomable
it laughs at our terror
and leaves in a trail of orange
bitter sweet
