Rage Poem by Annie Janine

Rage

Rating: 5.0

My subtle mask of dazed ignorance
can only last for so long

my heart
is dancing around in my torso
colliding with all the organs

My stomach acid
is burning and burning me

and a quiet yet deadly rage
dwells in the core of my sole

and the mask can only last for so long
