Rain

The rain has seen the past lives of sorrow
As the tears fell, there was no tomorrow
The pain she felt disappeared in the window of desperation
The rain formed an escape
Hoping for the pain to dissipate
As time continues, will the rain ever cease?
Will the sun ever shine?
Will the wind slow down?
For now, the rain falls steady upon the ground
