Rain Poem by Dannalee Williams

Rain

Rating: 5.0

The rain comes pouring down
Pouring down in buckets
Making a thunderous sound
It's making such a ruckus

It's falling faster than light
It's falling faster than you can say hi
It's falling like it's been knocked out of a fight
It's falling faster than you can sigh

The rain is falling down my face
Down, down, down just like all my fears
The drops fall fast like in a race
The stain my face all these tears.

These tears run like wild
I feel as though I am just a child.
