Rain In November Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Rain In November

What the hell? !
The rains refuse to stop from falling
It is falling continuously and profusely
Everyday and every other day
In this very late months of the year
September and October
And now in the month of November
The waters are just dropping like no one's business
Grounds are wet
Floors are slippery
Kids are running around very fast
Enjoying the rains and the showering waters
I am both afraid and jealous
I fear they will slip off, tumble and fall
They should not get injured and wounded
I am jealous of their innocence
They look so lovely and playful
Mothers are also worried and shouting their children's names
But they will not hear and come back home
May be till the rains stop
So, stop falling rain!
Rain! Rain! ! Rain! ! ! Go away
This is November
Go away, the children just want to play
