Rainbow Girl Poem by Ehsan Iqbal

Rainbow Girl

Rainbow Girl, Rainbow Girl, you really are beautiful
The world is blind, 'cause you're indisputable
The one word that drives me mad
No, not angry, nor is it sad

It brings the smile none can bring
Makes me feel like I'm the king
Your eyes are so very deep
If I stare at them I lull to sleep

When your hair falls over your eye
The world thinks you're a lie
Little does anyone know
How sometimes you feel low

Indeed a donkey knows not a diamond's worth
It keeps looking for comfort in the earth
You are worth more than diamonds indeed
Priceless you are, the world's in need

Rainbow girl, rainbow girl, you must not despair
Such priceless humans are infact rare
If you ever feel low know you're beautiful
Because you and I both are true to you
