Raindrop Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

Raindrop

Sweet swelling eyes;
Raining
Tears of Heaven,
Cleansing Earth’s heart,
Feels like Mother Nature’s song,
Cascading to soothe millions’ heart,
Youthful and adventurous,
Dancing and singing
As she comes along,
Trees, buds, and flowers,
All clap their hands,
When she gracefully lands,
Silently she descends,
Silently she departs,
But none cares
To know her source,
When asked, she says,
I am the daughter of Nature,
As pure as virgin,
Out to beautify and purify the Earth,
Eternal I rise out of the land and the sea
Up above the sky to heaven......

A rain can be best enjoyed after a dry spell when the air is humid and the land parched! Then it appears as a shower from Heaven! Beautiful poem on rain!

Raindrops are like a silver thread hanging from the sky and the lines of this write fall deep into our dry hearts..
