Raindrop Tree Poem by Rik Bertrand

Raindrop Tree

Look unto my raindrop tree,
It grows with each memory.
Each drop holds my life's treasures,
Its resilience you cannot measure.

Memories of past, protected to last
Adventures of love and miracles from above
Kisses and hugs pulls and tugs.
All captured, for future rapture.

I have created from nature a looking glass,
Do not be mistaken by their mass.
Each drop is a memory from my past,
Giving life to the tree as its mold is cast.

Memories of past, protected to last
Adventures of love and miracles from above
Kisses and hugs pulls and tugs.
All captured, for future rapture.

I like upon my raindrop tree, beautifully designed,
Its roots have been planted and its nature is divine.
The raindrops petals glow, Brightened by the past
I have created a living sanctuary that I hope will really last.
Memories of past, protected to last
Adventures of love and miracles from above
Kisses and hugs pulls and tugs.
All captured, for future rapture.

Raindrop tree, Raindrop tree, grow with memories past,
Each day you will grow larger until my life is cast.
Show the world all I have lived, memories of all good,
Be my final memoir, for I have not been understood.

Memories of past, protected to last
Adventures of love and miracles from above
Kisses and hugs pulls and tugs.
All captured, for future rapture.
