Raindrops Poem by Bonnie Collins

Raindrops

Rating: 5.0

Listening to the rain drops
while my head rests so peacfully
upon your chest

Looking at the rain drops fall one
by one against the window pane
is all most sad, to see it trickle
slowly down in no special direction

Watching you sleep, and thinking
how much you are missing such
a wonderfull part of life, but then
again, you would say close the damn
window its raining! !

And I love you for it......

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

A very intimate peep into your bedroom. It's life isn't it. We can't expect our partners to experience everything we experience. You share so wonderfully your feelings and love. Beautiful Bonnie.

The ying & yang of watching rain! Not everybody appreciates random beauty. Window, I hope, rather than widow in the penultimate line, but the meanings clear. Rgds, Ivan
