Raindrops And Teardrops Poem by David Harris

Raindrops And Teardrops

Rating: 5.0

Raindrops pitter-patter
against the windowpane,
teardrops run down my cheeks
whenever I am in pain.
The rain may hold a rhythm
when against my window falls;
tears on my cheeks
hold only sadness when they call.

D..... this isn't like you... though in terms of engaging and touching poetry it is. I hope you're ok..... I am guessing this is one of those 'times past' pieces. (Did you get your invitation yet?) t x

Looking out of the window I can understand the sentiment.Listening to the weather forecast this coming week its going to rain heavier that it has for the last month.Only difference is that the temperature will fall by 4 degrees too.I understand there is pathos within your words but cheer up David and let us all pray for a return of the good old sunshine.. Sid.
