Rainwater Poem by Melanie Emikohe

Rainwater

A little bit of raindrops tell me
It is stranger to the skin;
I seek cover, I seek normalcy!
A little bit of something is too much.

When it overpours and I'm drenched,
I start to do my jumping jacks;
I like the taste of rainwater on my face.
I let it all in - I am water!
