Ramblings Poem by Andrus Cassian

Ramblings

Rating: 5.0

As grey cloud haunt the sky
the gray clouds inside my head taunt me
I've never been good at sealing the deal with a hook
I belong in the same well as middlemen
For I'm only great in the middle
never at the ends
Make it into a joke if you wish, I don't care
I don't care...
yes I do
I care about something
I care for a woman old in years but not a day over 26
and I admit, I admit I've developed a harmless crush
Just ask her, the proof is in my wide-toothed smile
I care about someone, someone
Scarlett Jade
but I call it karma
she calls it whatever
while her parents call it justice
that I will never be with her
Eh it wouldn't be the first time I've dealt with this sorta thing
I care I care
for the birds in the trees
for earthly things
Man, this religious thing is getting to me
I don't even have a religious home
I belong to no one religion
If there is so many of them created
why can't aspects of each be true
instead of everyone pointing a bony finger in blasphemy
Oh well, guess I'll never know
but here I am spilling messed up
random stuff
about what?
Eh nothing
Yeah I am a loser...
yeah I am a loser...
but oh well
I wear the label proudly
I say it as a means of saying I'm just a prince in waiting
while others say it as well
I'm a loser I guess
but oh well why did I say anything
Silence is golden and I have overstayed my welcome
so good day so long
until I get my head on straight
Adios

I love the aimless wandering of your thoughts, you have created the very essence of the title for this piece of poetry. Very well written.10+
