Random Carcass Poem by VINEET GULATI

Random Carcass

So many meanings,
So many interpretations,
Carcass, tied to a chair - strapped,
To be carried away,
A final destination - perhaps.

An artistic expression,
Discarding the old,
Inheriting the new,
Leaving past memories behind,
Faceless and expressionless.

Or, perhaps -
Just a simple piece of bark,
Randomly strung together,
Sunning itself -
With no purpose in mind.
