Rare True Friendships Born

life people wisdom heartbeats
sown deep in decades experiences
reading hearts minds faces souls
beneath deceptive safety masks
has taught rare true friendships
are born in tight trust bound bonds
sincerity morality honesty ties
desire to give without limitations

trust is strength of integrity reliance
confidence in certainty of pure souls
born to be entrusted with all secrets
born to prove test silver never tarnishes
when frequent used for service purposes
trust unbroken is gold silver cloth souls

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
