Have ya seen my rat?
It's as big as a cat
It's all furry and fat
beady eyes and all that
Its tail's like an adder
all long and snakey
But it's got the DTs
So it looks a bit shaky
It's a rat with the tremors
It's been through the bin
It swigged all the dregs and
Some Beefeater gin
It went through my shelves
And left trails of pee
Then made its escape
in my old Ford Capri
It's a clever lab rat
Has the brain of a child
It can play tambourine
But is lost in the wild
The odds are against
A percussionist rat
With gin in his veins
the size of a cat
So help if you can
return it to me
So I can further my work
On Ratology
