Read Between Poem by Cheryl Esparzapolomino

Read Between

People who just judge by the cover. They will never know.

People are books.

Whom who judge by only thy's cover, shall never experience what the person would have to offer.

A great tale could be within, but if you never open the cover and look through the pages, thy shall never see.

All people are complicated, with a story within.

You just need to open the covers, and look through the pages.

Other people like me can be poetic.

We are complicated at first glance.

But if you read between our lines with patience and understanding

You will see our tale we have to tell as well.

We have wisdom, all ages. Hardships with Struggles.

You just need to open us up.

A great poem, it tells the truth and nothing else.
