Real Estate

Missing all the tall trees along the roadside,
With no sign of free ride;
Blank roads surrounded by concrete trees
With no traces of bees;
Wind blows like a wild breeze,
Rising in temperature degrees;
Disappeared ponds and lakes,
Rests in building blocks;
Vanishing all the rocks,
Mocking mocks flocks around the clock;
With sense of ease and great talks,
Not realizing the threat causing at every walk;
Ancestors planted trees for us enjoy Woodstock,
We cleared trees, lakes, rocks and ponds;
Every human is now a landlord,
With twisted tongue of sword;
Selfish, self centered in store,
In the name of real estate and more;
Philanthropists call for tree plantation and conservations,
Authorities command on clearing trees towards road ideation;
Masses protests towards ‘SAVE TREES' causation,
Heard and unheard goes the nation;

Global summits, conclave with bold posters highlights for ‘Conservation'
Least implementation, regularization and transformation;
Agriculture is blocked by no ‘Agri-Culture',
Leading to lands conversation as ‘Real Estate Culture';
Popular faces promote the same for a handful payment,
To bring in more and more claimants;
Popularity grows and grows of promoters and builders,
With few still going to Medias, meetings and authorities hope to consider;
Still with a hope that we leave more trees and vegetation for future generation,
I close with pain with no clue or gain or no explanation

Some countries are practically denuded of tree's like Haiti For example. But as population's get more out of control it is the primary Cause of loss of habitat. Tremendous insight with this poem, I thank you for sharing.

Thanks for your comment. It is good to know about Haiti. I do agree about increase of Population as one the reasons. But I see it other way. It all depends on our life style, standard of living, eco-friendly sensitivity and so on
