Real Girls Poem by Ashleigh Hales

Real Girls

Real girls are those who’ve had real experiences,
Girls who get out there.
Play sport, go fishing, camping,
Girls who enjoy the great outdoors.

Girls who pay attention, who want to learn.
Learning about our heritage,
Where we are from,
And where we are heading.

Girls who want to make a difference,
And who actually get out there and do something about it.

So I say, forget being cool,
You’ll end up doing things you’ll regret later.
Get out there, experience real life.

Don’t be afraid to stand out from the crowd,
In fact, form your own crowd.

Be a real girl,
Be individual!
