The world is throbbing in your eyes,
blurry and hazy,
everything just flys by,

Darkness is releif,
ignorance is the cure,
but no amount of sleep
will save you,

when reality is this impure...

This could be a hangover or despair, but has a predominantly dark feel which makes me plump for the latter. Either way, it's nicely put. Danny
