Reality Check Poem by TheNameless Poet

Reality Check

I like the way he breathes,
its loud and out of rythm,
Just like mine

It tingles my neck
Not warm...but not cold either
a small wind, a treasure he shares
unknowingly with me

That breath makes me shudder
my hairs standing on end
A need, A hunger opens up inside me
with each breath he breathes

'No' says the voice in my head
'He's got a girlfriend'

And just like that
my dreams shatter and I'm back to reality
where the world is cruel
unfair
unjust
