Realization Of A Nature's Walk Poem by Luke Mummert

Realization Of A Nature's Walk

Rating: 5.0

Walking through a dense forest
On a cool summer night,
For this is when it's calmest,
Everything seems just right
As you walk among the trees,
Peering down is the moon,
Shining dimly on the leaves
You catch a glimpse of a coon.
Wondering why they're so frightened
And scamper off right away,
For your heart would only brightened
If they decided to stay.
So you decide to sit down
And watch the prancing of deer,
You'll never have to frown
Since it's so peaceful here.
You realize this night was the best
And not like all the others
For you took a walk in the forest.
