I followed you up the stairs
as you hurried to the top
The scene was tempting
when your eyes invited me to
make love...
As you stood near the window
the wind passed gently through
the knots of your hair,
my mind was flooded
by the aura of desire,
And then you smiled, removed it
giving the true glimpse of your beauty
As i came near,
you turned towards the window
your eyes directing towards
the setting sun;
From dusk to dawn
I held your hand and
drew myself closer to you
Now your eyes seems filled
with a joy,
a feeling of delight
Intense thoughts hover my mind,
as i moved my hand
through your hair
An essence of togetherness
overflows the melancholic feels...
As i kissed you
my lips felt the tender touch,
the wet imprints on your cheek
and it was then that you kissed me back,
I realised what love is all about...
