Rebirth Poem by Michael Caldararo

Rebirth

In this my lifetime
I look and I see
A candle burning
Alas not for me

My heart has taken
Many turns of fate
But none more special
Than the one of late

I’ve lived with angels
Imagined and real
And cleverly hid
From many an ordeal

I soon saw the truth
I’d finally awoke
The sight had taught me
I had been quite broke.

Thank You for the glow
Blindness had concealed
The truth now shines through
A new birth revealed.
