Reborn Poem by Lyna Goodhue

Reborn

Rating: 5.0

He came to earth in human form
That man through Him could be reborn
With His blood our sin erased
Our sin put Him in that place.
On the cross to die for man
From beginning was God's plan
"I am the way, the truth, the life"
Christ said this, Can you not see
Our Savior's earnest loving plea?
Sent by God from heaven above
Sent to earth to show His love.
"Born again" so you'll arise
To be with Christ above the skies.
Death is wager received from sin
Eternal life is Christ within.

An enjoyable write; nicely done. Perhaps you would enjoy my poems 'Silent Tears' and 'Spiritual Irony' which parallels the theme of this piece.
