Reckoning With My Soul Poem by kara towe

Reckoning With My Soul

You mourn what has come and gone.
You mourn present time.
You mourn your youth.
You mourn your life.

We wrestle with what if.
We ask why.
We ponder upon the future.
We dance to the beat of time.

You sing.
You dance.
You dream.
You cry.

We smile.
We hide.
We gaze out the window.
We watch life pass us by.
We remember when.
