Red

Red the color of pain at it’s worse
Red the color of the blood left on the pavement after
Red the color of anger was felt by somebody towards another
Red the color of hate
Red the color of happiness in it’s best day
Red the color of her cheeks after
Red the color of the gift she received from him
Red the color of love
Red the color like no other

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
