I love to watch red dirt cows
They blend right in with the dirt
Some with cute white faces
So friendly they kind of flirt
Chewing their cuds so gently
Contented they are it seems
Grazing the wide-open spaces
Dreaming their cow kind of dreams
Their simple lives seem attractive
They don’t have a single care
Moms with their young babies
They always seem to share
They watch the sun go down
The beauty of the sky
Living right out in nature
And they never question why
I don’t think it’s a bad life
If only we knew how
To relax and enjoy life like
Those wonderful red dirt cows!
