Red Green Poem by soren Barrett

Red Green

I had an old track boss by the name 'a Red Green
The most colorful man ya ever done seen
His face was a topigrafical map
Ruddy red canyons, bluegreen lines, 'is hair a snow cap
Chewin' tobacco, oozed from his mouth like a creek
Oh........but ya should've 'eard the man speak
His language, as colorful as 'is name, came in a rush
At it's mildest, 'twould make the bloody devil blush
Even when working hard, no one dared to bend over
From behind he'd grab ya down in the clover
At each break he'd sit and take out his choppers
The tales he'd tell, would be real whoppers
When done, in his coffee, he'd wash out his teeth
Then gulp it down, an' belch, 'twas beyond belief
