Red Night Poem by fera nugroho

Red Night

my christmas wasn't white
yet it's certainly wet
wet, sad and red

the anonymous marry
was eventually died
in the hands of her dad

on this christmas night

she asked nothing but a cat
not her mom not her dad
but a tubby cat

she wanted nothing but a pet
not a plate of fancy cake
not even a box of chocolate

she didn't ask for new gadget
things to die for? she knew not
but a fat lil cat she met at the vet

a fat cat
that made her dad mad
and turned him into a butcher

so he ripped and chopped
and chopped...
till marry wanted no more
