Red Pretty Slippers Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Red Pretty Slippers

Rating: 5.0

Red pretty slippers are really very pretty,
Nice foot wear we like to have to walk,
Bare foot walking is not so good,
There is danger of dust and thorn to pinch.

Bare foot walking may invite infection,
Pollutants may enter into home to impure,
Using foot wear is wise idea we keep,
For safety we search them on floor.

These new little dusty rough foot wears,
These are still waiting to invite lovely feet,
These are dotted and in back side rough,
These are safe and will not slip in mud.

In slippery floor of tile or marble coated,
We can walk easily with right confidence,
Such pretty foot wears are very attractive,
We find beauty of daily life for usage.

Service we get we cannot forget at all,
Pretty red slippers are waiting for walk,
Still we find emotion in summer on sand,
These protect feet from hotness and burn.

I like the openess of you to talk about ant topic...almost anything, that deserve a respect from me because it shows me how transparent your mind and readiness to share things with us like you friends....thats really cool you know. And i like the words you poured here..The slippers though remind me one of my friends one that he put outside of our lab, maybe when he use it during gardening because as you know in lab we should wear shoes...but that slippers you show has same shape of it but black colour hahaha.

Reminds me when I was a child. My brothers and I were always had bare feet and all the cuts, bruises, and burns that go with not wearing shoes. Something as simple as these little red shoes can bring memories. Often the simple things in life are most valuable. Thanks dear friend and poet.

This is a truly an innovative write...like an ode to shoes; I am reminded of Pablo Neruda's Ode to my Socks
