Redemption



This dark abyss
Consumes me
There is no escape
From destiny

My tortured soul
Cries out in pain
I’m lost and empty
Unsaved

I stand here innocent
As one condemned
In solitary confinement
Are my tears imprisoned

Only the blood
Of God as a man
Can break the chains
That bind me
