Brianna N R Wine (9-29-1995 / USA)
My face reflects cold and innocent.
Coldness that matches the sun-
Innocence that is smeared darker than any blood.
The anguish in my heart is more than the pain of death.
And yet, no one sees…no one glimpses into the dark void of my soul.
If coldness and innocence reflect, then where are the true feelings?
My phantom courage wavers and hovers along with sorrow.
My body is here, but everything else is adrift in a haze of uselessness stupor.
No longer searching for the lost pieces, I reflect.
The mirror shows what's untold... or at least it seems.
