Take me back in time
When days were so much longer,
Playgrounds felt like small towns,
And the sandbox was my world.
On the way to the kindergarten
I remember looking up at my father,
Asking questions one after another.
As I look back at the old days
Sunshine is what I remember.
In such a hurry to grow,
But now when I'm old
it's back in time where I want to go.
To spend a day 4 feet tall
Could be the best experience after all.
Such a difference of how I see the world now.
Thankful for all the memories I got,
Now I know, there is life beyond the sandbox.
