Reflections Poem by thaddeus dugan

Reflections

As I look into the mirror I see
Reality, that surrounds me
The deliberate insanities
Placidly flowing from lingering faces
Are lunatic's disgraces
Condemning me
This trivial world of trifle and tears
Has come to covete me
and the lucidity I see only in mirrors
Has no reflection of me
And now all the words, from breath I've taken
Have come crumbling down on me
In your absence, all thats real is forsaken
Til I look in the mirror and see
You smiling down at me.
