Regret Poem by Tabatha Wallace

Regret

Rating: 5.0

I never told you that I loved you
I just assumed you knew.
Now im starting to realize
maybe you didn't have a clue.
If only then I knew
what I know today,
I wouldn't take you for granted
and I'd say what I needed to say.
Maybe my thoughts aren't right
and you knew it all along.
Maybe you pretended that you didn't
to show me what I did wrong.
They say you don't know what you've got till it's gone
Now I know they're right.
Always say 'I love you'
Hold your memories tight.

In loving memory of Drew Robertson
