Regret Poem by Morgan Uptain

Regret

My sarrow is my joy
My sin is my sweet caress
I will break your heart in an instant boy
But i will show you some kindness

My heart beats for one person
But that person left me long ago
He left me with a hard decision
To either stay or go

To my deepest regret
He has found someone else
Who will keep him from debt
And she will love no one else

My love left me
For things i could not see

I like the end rhyme. You have conveyed how a woman's heart can be broken so that while she may be able to give in a limited capacity, she lives in the past, often finds it difficult to trust and give of herself completely in the present, and at times becomes a heart breaker. Excellent poem.
