Regrets Poem by Fritzie Abella

Regrets

There are words amid my silence.
If only you'd lingered and listened.
There are secrets behind my smiles.
If only you'd stared beyond my eyes.

There are longings masked by delight.
If only you'd dared to know my past.
There are pieces scattered afar.
If only you'd looked beyond the scar.

There are dreams suppressed, forgotten.
If only you were faithful, unshaken.
There are verses of love unwritten
If only you and I had fallen.
