Regrets Poem by Ramesh Sharma

Regrets

Once I was known as the master of the world
I destroyed the nature which was like a gold.
I did every thing to destroy the nature.
Control I had before over every creature.
Among all creatures I thought I was the best.
But I am created by the lord, just like the rest.
I failed in the Almighty's test.
As I destroyed every creature's nest.
If hell really exists,
I have to visit there for my sins,
For all the crimes I have done in the world.
The devil will cut my head with a sword.
Demons will drink my blood like wine.
And torture me till I come in line.
I have destroyed the lives of others
And taken children from many mothers
I was not what god wanted me to be.
Truth was what, I was not able to see.
Now in darkness I've been lost.
Upon me nobody has trust
