Relaxing Evening Poem by Billy Loving

Relaxing Evening

Pleasing sun ray
My tiredness, it does allay
Nature so kind
I sit and unwind
On my porch I swing
While I listen to the birds sing
Staring up at the sun
My work for the day done
Sweat drenched clothes start to dry
Rapidly, the evening passes by
A cool refreshing drink, I sip
From consciousness, I start to slip
My drink falling to the ground below
As off to sleep, I quietly go
