Remember Innocence Poem by Briana Johnson

Remember Innocence

Who new the joy a child could bring
Just there everlasting smile
Etches memories in your mind
Remember when we were innocent
Unkempt and nonchalant
When time never went forward or back
You were just living and none more
Then our teen years came
Life seemed too fast now
Always wondering about tomorrow's sorrow
But now I'm adult and back in this phase of innocence
Only because I see it in you
A child like I once was
And I know I still am
