Remember Me Poem by Esther Hudson

Remember Me

Rating: 5.0

'I promise, ' she whispered, 'that I will always be your friend.'
We left the pre-existence and came to earth
Years passed and I saw my friend
We did not remember each other
We hated each other
My spirit cried to me each time I glared
And that kindred spirit
Then she broke
She told me she was sorry
And that each day her spirit cried
I knew what she meant
I said I was sorry and that we could be good friends
Our spirits soared
We didn't know why
And then we came back
To where we begun
We remembered
And shouted for joy
We were still friends
At the very last day.
